Testing & Inspection Process
- Verify aluminum billet grade (6063-T5) and chemical composition
- Conduct hardness and purity tests before extrusion
- Assign batch numbers for full traceability
At Xingyong, we believe quality is defined by consistency. From raw material to packaging, every stage follows ISO 9001 quality management standards with traceable records. Our goal isn't just to pass inspection — it's to ensure every pole naturally meets the standard.
Quality is not a checkpoint — it is a system. Below are the controlled parameters and acceptance criteria we apply to every batch, the same numbers your QA team and any third-party auditor will read on our pre-shipment inspection report.
| Parameter | Standard / Tolerance |
|---|---|
| Quality System | ISO 9001:2015 + IATF 16949:2016 + ISO 14001:2015 + ISO 45001:2018 |
| Material Grade | Primary 6063-T5 / 6061-T6 / 6005-T5 (Oxford spectrometer chemistry verified per batch) |
| Wall Thickness Tolerance | ±0.05 mm (precision profile) / ±0.10 mm (standard) |
| Outer-Diameter Tolerance | ±0.10 mm (round tube), ±0.15 mm (oval / shaped) |
| Straightness | ≤ 1 mm / m (post-stretching) |
| Hardness | 8–14 HW (Webster) for 6063-T5; HRB / Rockwell on request |
| Anodize Layer | 8–12 µm standard; 12–15 µm heavy-duty — coating-thickness gauge per piece (sampling) |
| Salt-Spray Resistance | ≥ 500 hours, no white rust (ASTM B117) |
| Lock Smoothness | 100 % functional test — twist torque + cam-lock slip |
| Surface Inspection | 100 % visual for scratches, dents, color variance under D65 light box |
| Drop / Packaging Test | ISTA 3A drop & vibration sampling, retail blister included |
| Inspection Documents | Mill cert + chemistry report + dimensional report + visual AQL with each shipment |
Each pole passes through six controlled QC checkpoints before it leaves our factory. Failures at any stage are quarantined, root-cause analyzed, and reported to the Production Manager — no quiet rework, no buried defects.
Big-box and brand buyers don't reorder because we passed one inspection. They reorder because every batch we ship matches the report we sent. Here is what makes that repeatable.
To guarantee compliance with international standards, Xingyong maintains third-party certification and test documentation — ready for your supplier-portal upload.
Every PO ships with a sealed PDF QA dossier containing: aluminum mill certificate, Oxford spectrometer chemistry report, dimensional report (wall thickness, OD, straightness), anodize-thickness log, salt-spray test result (when applicable), AQL visual report, and the carton barcode trace list. Documents are emailed before the container is loaded.
Yes. We host SGS, BV, TUV, Intertek and QIMA inspectors weekly, plus client-nominated auditors on request. Both AQL during production and pre-shipment audit before container loading are supported. Reports are sent direct to your QA team — we never edit them.
Standard finish is 8–12 µm anodized layer; heavy-duty 12–15 µm. Each rack is sampled with a coating-thickness gauge after sealing. Color is verified against the customer-approved master in a D65 daylight light box. Salt-spray test (ASTM B117) confirms ≥ 500 hours, no white rust.
Read the carton barcode — we link it to the billet batch, extrusion shift, anodize tank, lock-assembly operator and final QC record within 5 minutes. Root-cause analysis and a written 8D report are issued within 48 hours, plus replacement or credit-note arrangement.
Default sampling per ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (ISO 2859-1): Major defect AQL 2.5, Minor defect AQL 4.0. Tighter AQL (1.5 / 2.5) on request — common for retail-blister and Walmart / Home Depot programs.
