What Is Standard Aluminum Extrusion
Standard aluminum extrusions are ready-made profile shapes — angles, channels, tubes, bars and beams — pre-designed so you skip new mold costs. Made from 6061 or 6063, they're lightweight, corrosion-resistant and easy to cut, drill and machine, used everywhere from machine frames to window tracks.
For us they're also the foundation of every telescopic pole: the same extrusion, anodizing and machining discipline that holds tube tolerance for poles applies to your profile order. Standard Aluminum Extrusion — Questions
Which alloys and lengths do you extrude?
Mainly 6000-series — 6063, 6061 and 6005 — in standard 3–6 m lengths with wall thickness from about 0.8 to 5.0 mm. Other lengths and tempers are available to order.
Do you charge a tooling fee?
Open-die standard profiles (L, U, T, I, F, H, Z, J, Y, G, tubes and bars) carry no tooling fee. A custom cross-section needs a dedicated die, which we quote separately and can often credit against volume.
Can you machine and finish the profiles?
Yes — cutting, CNC machining, drilling, punching, anodizing and powder coating are all in-house, so you can order finished components, not just raw lengths.

What is your MOQ for extrusions?
