Poolpole ships samples in 7–14 days and standard MOQ starts at 500–1,000 pcs per SKU for first orders, flexing lower for repeat customers. Sample fees and tooling costs are refundable against bulk-order volume. No surprises — every quote includes sample, MOQ, and total landed cost up-front.

Three Sample Types & What Each Costs

Pool pole sample approval inspection for wall thickness, tube straightness, lock fit, and accessory compatibility at Poolpole

Choose the sample type that matches your decision stage:

Stock sample — existing SKU off our shelf. Free or nominal fee + freight, ships in 2–5 days. For quick handling check.
Custom sample (existing tooling) — your spec + your color + your label on existing extrusion. Modest sample fee, refundable on bulk PO, 7–10 days.
Custom sample (new tooling required) — new extrusion die or mold cut for your spec. Tooling cost + sample fee both refundable per agreed bulk threshold, 15–25 days for first trial batch (50–200 pcs).

Freight cost (DHL / FedEx / UPS) is paid by customer up-front unless agreed otherwise. We use your account when provided.

Each die change costs press time. MOQ amortizes the setup so per-piece cost stays competitive.

Anodize Batch

Anodize dye baths run by color. Smaller-than-batch orders waste dye; MOQ keeps the math fair.

Packaging Print Run

Printed color boxes have their own MOQ — typically 500–1,000 boxes per artwork. We can pool standard color boxes across SKUs.

Container Fill

Sea freight is most economical at 40HQ container fill. Lower volumes can ship LCL but per-piece freight rises.

Can I order below your standard MOQ?

Sometimes. Below-MOQ orders are case-by-case — we may quote a per-piece premium that covers the setup, or batch your order with another customer's run if specs align. Ask the sales team.

Are sample fees refundable?

Yes, 100% refundable on bulk order. Sample fee is credited against your first PO when production volume crosses the agreed threshold. Tooling costs follow the same model.

How long does sample shipping take?

DHL / FedEx Express: 3–5 working days to US / EU / AU. UPS economy: 5–7 days. Air-freight LCL: 7–10 days. We provide tracking same day as dispatch.

Can I get a sample in my brand color and packaging?

Yes — custom sample (existing tooling) covers your anodize color and your printed packaging. Lead time 7–10 days after artwork sign-off. Color box for sample is 1 piece printed at higher cost than mass production.

What payment terms apply to first orders?

30% deposit at PO, 70% before shipment (FOB) is standard for new customers. Repeat customers in good standing can negotiate LC at sight or 30–60 day open account.
