Why a Net Pole Is Specced for the Bag, Not the Net
A swimming pool net pole carries a skimmer net, a deep-bag leaf net or a rake across the surface and the floor — and those are not the same load at all.
Flat skimming is the lightest duty on the deck. A deep bag holding a season of wet leaves is not: the weight sits at the far end of a fully extended lever, so section overlap and lock holding force decide whether the pole stays usable or folds at the joint.
