At 5.4 m there is naturally more deflection than shorter poles, so we control it two ways: stepping wall thickness up toward 1.2 mm and using 6005 / 6065 alloy on the lower section for rigidity. The lightweight inner tubes are sized to slide smoothly section to section without binding, so operators can extend and lock fast even at full reach. Keep tool heads under the recommended working load for the steadiest feel.

The 18 ft pole is built in 2 to 4 sections — fewer sections give a longer collapsed length but fewer joints, while four sections pack down shortest for freight. Pick 0.8 mm wall for the lightest pole, 1.2 mm for maximum rigidity at full reach, or a custom wall in between. We tune section count and wall together so the tubes still slide smoothly.

The 18 ft reach suits multi-storey window cleaning, painting, dusting and pool equipment. It pairs with squeegees and wash brushes for high glass, paint rollers for tall walls and ceilings, dusters for vaulted interiors, and brushes or skimmers for wide pool surfaces — one pole covering several high-reach tool lines.
