Batch Quality & Traceability for Aluminum Pole OEM

Xingyong retains and tests samples from every raw-material batch to support full quality traceability and stable production. The same alloy spec ships order after order - so B2B buyers running repeat OEM programs see consistent quality across years, not just first samples.

Policy

Every Raw-Material Batch Is Sampled and Retained

Sample retention is the foundation of repeat-order consistency. When a B2B buyer's third or fourth shipment of the same SKU arrives months apart, you need to be able to prove that batch C and batch A are dimensionally and chemically equivalent - not just visually similar. Xingyong's policy: every incoming aluminum billet batch is sampled at the gate, tested for composition and surface, and a retention sample is archived against the lot number. The same retention pattern continues downstream - extrusion, anodize, and assembly each retain their own batch samples. This means any complaint or audit can be traced back to the exact billet batch, extrusion run, anodize cycle, and assembly shift that produced the questioned unit.

Four Tests Run on Every Batch Sample

Composition

Oxford optical-emission spectrometer reads Mg, Si, Fe, Cu, Mn, Cr, Zn, Ti against the 6063 / 6061 spec. Out-of-spec batches are rejected at the receiving gate.

Dureza

Barcol, Webster, and Rockwell hardness gauges verify temper (T5 / T6) on the as-received billet. Hardness drift indicates a heat-treat issue upstream.

Dimensões

Calipers, bore gauges, and straightness fixtures verify OD, ID, wall thickness, roundness, and straightness against the spec sheet for that lot.

Superfície

Visual and tactile surface check under color-matched light box catches die lines, scratches, and pickup before the tube enters anodize - where defects become permanent.

Chain

Full Traceability Chain - Billet to Carton

Every finished pole carries a date code that ties back through the full production chain:
  • Billet batch number - composition, supplier, receiving date
  • Extrusion run ID - press number, die ID, shift, operator
  • Anodize cycle ID - line, dye bath, film thickness gauge log
  • Assembly shift - lock pairing ID, sliding-force QC log
  • Pre-shipment QC lot - AQL inspector, dimensional spot-check
  • Master carton date code - packed, sealed, container loaded
If a customer flags a defective unit by date code, we can pull the full chain and isolate the root cause batch within hours - supporting recall isolation if ever needed.

B2B Value

Why This Matters for Repeat OEM Orders

OEM pool pole RFQ review with aluminum tube sections, lock parts, packaging sample, and inspection tools at Xingyong
For a B2B buyer placing the same PO every 6-12 months, the worst surprise is "this batch looks different from last year's." Even subtle drift in color, sliding feel, or lock engagement triggers customer complaints, returns, and retailer chargebacks downstream. Sample retention + traceability means we can re-test last year's batch against this year's batch and prove equivalence, or catch drift before it ships. For programs running across multiple years with the same retailer SKU, this is the difference between a clean reorder and a vendor-status review. Mill cert per EN 10204 3.1 available per shipment. Custom-format inspection report per your QA system on request.

Batch Quality & Traceability - FAQ

How long do you retain batch samples?Composition samples: 24 months minimum from billet receipt. Dimensional samples: 12 months from extrusion run. Assembled-unit retention samples: 12 months from production - allowing year-over-year reorder comparison and warranty claim investigation.
Can I request a specific aluminum billet supplier for my program?Yes for high-volume programs. Tell us your preferred mill or alloy spec - we'll lock the supplier list for your SKU and document it in your customer-specific quality plan. This is common for big-box retailers with their own approved-vendor lists.
What's in an EN 10204 3.1 mill cert?Chemical composition (heat number, % Mg/Si/Fe/Cu/Mn/Cr/Zn/Ti against alloy spec), mechanical properties (tensile, yield, elongation), manufacturer identification, and inspector sign-off. Standard for traceable B2B procurement in EU and increasingly in NA.
If a customer reports a defective unit, how fast can you trace it?Within 24 hours when the customer provides the date code. We pull the billet batch, extrusion run ID, anodize cycle, and assembly shift records - usually identifying the root-cause stage same-day. Full traceability report within 2-3 working days.
Do you support customer-specific quality plans (CSQP)?Yes. For big-box retail programs (Walmart, Home Depot style) we accept your QA team's custom inspection protocol, AQL levels, and reporting format. Documented in the customer's program file and audited against on every shipment.
Are you ISO 9001 certified?Yes - ISO 9001:2015 quality management. We also hold ISO 14001:2015 (environmental), ISO 45001:2018 (safety), ISO 50001:2018 (energy), and IATF 16949:2016 (auto-grade quality). See certifications for the full list.
