When to Stake Tomato Plants

Use soft, wide ties in a figure-eight: one loop around the stake, a twist, one loose loop around the stem. The twist keeps the stem from rubbing the stake; the loose loop leaves room to thicken.

Determinate vs Indeterminate: Two Different Support Jobs
